Health and Wellbeing

Our children’s health and wellbeing is of the utmost importance to us at Tinywoods Preschool. We promote health and wellbeing through extra curriculum activities such as Yoga, Music, Movement and physical exercise, which is important for children’s physical and mental health and wellbeing.

We also provide a quiet space for children to relax and self-regulate both inside and outside, where they can spend some time colouring, reading, and painting. This includes a reading area in the garden to promote children’s language and literacy skills. We find that children become more interested in looking at books and finding a peaceful place to relax and share a story, with a love for reading encouraged from the beginning up to pre-school age.
